Uruguay’s Technological University (UTEC) offers a Professional Masters degree in Data Science, with a strong entrepreneurial component, with academic support from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
Through a blended learning methodology, the acquisition of hard and soft skills is fostered through:
With the Masters’ final project, students will have the opportunity to apply for human resource and seed capital financing funds offered by one of the three local organizations supporting the program: the Uruguayan National Research and Innovation Agency (ANII).
The objective is for students to dominate the foundations of data science, statistics and machine learning, while being capable of developing new lines of businesses within their companies and leading decision-making processes in their teams.
The program blends online graduate-level courses with on-site workshops that expose students to entrepreneurship and data science. We also provide academic support from UTEC and MIT facilitators, exclusive to our students throughout the whole program, to add value to the online learning experience.
